About Colin Prince

After completing a Diploma of Construction in 2006, I found myself aligning with the design side of construction and decided to follow the path of a Quantity Surveyor at University. In 2008 I joined Mitchell Brandtman where I have been exposed to different facets of my profession including Asset Management, Finance Work and Procurement & Cost Planning.I have developed a passion for the construction industry and in particular 5D Cost Planning and the Idea of BIM. I have always had an interest and fascination with technology, I believe that this is where the future of the design side of the construction industry lies and I can’t wait to see how deep the rabbit hole goes.The idea of BIM relies heavily on collaboration between all parties of the Construction Industry. A wise man once said “Those who fail to plan, plan to fail.”Co-operation, trust, teamwork and a willingness to learn and evolve are a must both in house and between professions. These are qualities I have found and admire in the people I work with.
