About Colin Ring

Recently described as a purple giraffe, Colin Ring, Tenor, is an experienced young artist about to finish his undergraduate degree as a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre with a Business Minor at The University of Colorado at Boulder. Driven by his desire to grow, Colin takes pride in his strong work ethic and attention to detail. His goals include performing professionally around the world and becoming a vocal pedagogy teacher. Colin studies voice under Dr. John Seesholtz and Matthew Chellis at CU Boulder, dance under Henry Graham with Dance2b, and acting primarily under Kurt Naebig with Acting Studio Chicago. Colin takes pride in his versatility as a performer and how he can make himself available to each and every opportunity. Colin has travelled all across the world, performing various opera, operetta, and musical theatre shows. Colin has just finished working with Eklund Opera in their production of Cendrillon as Le Premier Ministre, and also will be performing the musical Chicago with CU Boulder’s School of Music as Fred Casely in April of 2023. Colin is set to have his professional debut with Ohio Light Opera in June of 2023 and cannot wait for what is in store!
