Colin is the Country Leader for EY Financial Services in Ireland, responsible for the strategy, operations, business development and talent of the business. He leads a team of over professionals who provide comprehensive, integrated solutions to the banking, insurance, capital markets, fintech, investment and wealth management sectors. As a member of the EY EMEIA Regional Leadership Team, Colin collaborates with global leadership, leveraging a network of EY professionals to drive digital innovation, cost optimization, and transformative growth strategies for clients in Ireland. Colin has a track record of building diverse, expert teams and practices, bringing creative thinking, decisive action and sustainable results to client organisations. Drawing on over 25 years of leadership experience, Colin understands C-suite dynamics, and has collaborated closely with major global clients across Financial Services, Public Sector, ICT and Product companies. His particular expertise lies in steering substantial and complex transformation projects to success. His approach is highly collaborative, seeking to work closely with clients to understand their unique challenges, align their resources and ultimately help them to better serve their customers. Colin continues to champion one clear vision for EY Financial Services – to build a better financial services industry; one that is stronger, innovative, inclusive and more sustainable. He believes that EY can play a material role in empowering Ireland’s financial services industry, making Ireland a distinctive location for financial services in Europe. Colin holds an MBA from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, an M.Sc. in Distributed Systems from Trinity College Dublin and a B.Tech from University of Limerick. As an active conference speaker and industry commentator, Colin contributes regularly to Irish and international media on matters relating to Ireland’s Financial Services sector.
