About Colleen Ballard

Challenges are opportunities and knowledge is power! I have experience in business and change management, HR and EM operations. The majority of my experience is with non-profit organizations. My years of experience as a front line emergency Paramedic has given me perspective which has been paramount to my growth as a person, professional, and leader. I have been witness to some of humanities greatest moments but also some of the worst. I’m driven by my passion for people and strong relationships. I have a willingness to learn and have an ongoing desire to challenge myself. My greatest asset is my ability to listen and support. I believe everyone has an important perspective. Perspective and one’s own experience are the key to improved processes. I am fortunate to have had so many incredible mentors in my life. All who have aided me in the building of meaningful relationships, trust, and mutual respect. I believe that ones ability to manage and resolve conflict is the responsibility of everyone involved and a critical component of a strong, efficient workforce. I believe it is the responsibility of a leader to identify leaders, mentor growth, and raise others up to join you. My life and career experience is aided by an Associate's degree in in Human Resource Management and a B.A. in Management with a concentration in Leadership.
