About Colleen Bender-Castner

I believe that I am a great asset to any company as I have over 30 years of sales and customer service experience. From my very first job at the age of 15 working at a local bakery, the restaurant industry for 10 years, new home sales and now a registered Nurse I have much to offer. In I was fortunate to get a great job in the new homes sales industry. I started as a secretary to the superintendent on a home construction site and worked my way up the ladder becoming a sales manager. I have 8 years experience as a new home sales manager. I managed my own community. I continued to meet all sales goals each month and year. My sales ranged from $15-25 million each year. I was responsible for sales as well as maintaining day to day operations of the sales office. I worked with realtors and designed marketing campaigns for increased sales. I was also lucky to have been able to represent my company in a commercial. I left new home sales in 2006 to pursue a career solely dedicated to service work. I returned to college at the age of 37 and went to nursing school. I graduated from Nursing school in December of 2010. I started my nursing career at Buffalo General Hospital in the neurosurgical ICU. I then went on the work in a pediatric trauma 1 ER. After working 3 years as a nurse I became a travel nurse and ended up living permanently in Las Vegas. I have been a critical care surgical ICU nurse for over 12 + years. I am currently looking for a job that will utilize my management and sales experience in the healthcare industry. I believe that my experience in sales and as a nurse could benefit many companies. I am a very dedicated, hard working individual. I have been fortunate to enjoy all the careers I have had an opportunity to work for.
