About Colleen Hanson

Colleen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified School Social Worker with over 25 years of experience working in private practice, public and therapeutic schools. She provides individual, group and family therapy to children, teens, and adults. Colleen has completed advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Children, Adolescents, & Families, Mark Reinecke, PhD, August 2009 – August 2010. She has trained with Michelle Garcia Winner at The Social Thinking Clinic in San Jose, California completing both the Level 1 Assessment, and Level 2 Advanced Clinical Internship in October 2009 and November 2011. She is a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator trained in the research and work of Dr. Brene Brown. She specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders and provides therapy to help clients develop skills to manage stress, increase healthy emotional functioning, develop social cognitive and related skills, improve relationships and learn new strategies for effective parenting.
