About Colleen McCarthy

I am very passionate special education/learning support teacher. I have recently worked as a Pre-K teacher and Special Education department head. My position duties included writing and implementing curriculum, observing students through the child study process, monitoring students progress through IEPs/ILPs, creating systems of data management, working one on one or in small groups with students for targeted math or literacy intervention, and providing professional learning opportunities for fellow staff members. I maintain excellent written and verbal communication between families and school.
