About Colleen Patterson

I’m a media and communications professional with a wide range of experience in the fields of health and social issues, government, stakeholder and Indigenous relations. I specialize in strategic communications, project management, writing, editing and social media. I’ve been involved in public relations and social media initiatives for NGO’s at provincial, federal and international levels since 2003. My experience includes working with national organizations including, Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada, Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, National Aboriginal Health Organization, Canadian Aboriginal AIDS Network and the Aboriginal Nurses Association of Canada. Some of my writing and editing positions have given me the opportunity to edit for the Journal of Aboriginal Health and develop multiple articles for Bloodlines magazine and The Brock News.
