About Colleen Yu

With a deep business background as a former management consultant at KPMG and a private wealth manager at Goldman Sachs, Colleen understands the motivations of consumers and corporations alike, and brings new levels of professionalism to the experiential marketing space. In 2010, Colleen founded EX•R Consulting to pursue her creative passions and offer comprehensive marketing and communication services to a wide range of retail, luxury brand, entertainment, and Fortune 500 clients. Under Colleen’s leadership, EX•R has become the agency of record for many of the world’s leading brands, executing more than 200 campaigns and events in 15 countries. Her global network and pioneering vision led EX•R to expand its presence into the United States and throughout Asia, with a home base in Hong Kong. In 2019, EX-R formed strategic alliance with Livenation Asia and launched Livenation Connects to deliver music based brand experiential solutions. In 2020, Colleen continued to expand into the edutainment space by launching another experiential learning platform called Yum Me Play. Colleen is also very active in her charity work. She currently sits on the board of Make A Wish Hong Kong and Hagar International. She is also an active member of HK ballet as a member of the Guild and co-chairing fundraising activities. Colleen is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Marketing and Information Technology. She is fluent in five languages (Cantonese, Mandarin, English, Japanese, and Korean).
