About Collin Bauer

Hello! My name is Collin. I am a College of Charleston graduate with a BS in Computer Science. I am currently seeking employment in the greater Los Angeles area. During my time at College of Charleston I have played an incredibly active and involved role, serving as the secretary for our Association for Computing Machinery chapter, a teaching assistant for our earlier programming classes, and a tutor for various computer science courses. As an officer for ACM, I have helped organize and host various events, including workshops and social gatherings, and have also helped promote department-wide involvement during the pandemic through our incredibly active Discord server. In my free time, I enjoy researching new technologies and innovations in computing, and dabble in open source development and hackathons. I also have a hobby using open source technology to mod older video games. Technologies I actively use include: Java, Python, JavaScript, VSCode, Android Studio, Bash, GitHub, Blender, and plenty more.
