About Collin Bilinski
I am a 5th year civil engineering student at the University of Victoria. I've worked as a field engineering co-op at the Site C hydroelectric dam product, a communications infrastructure developer at CFB Esquimalt, a concrete researcher, and a product developer for Dog Quality Enterprises. At Site C dam my responsibilities largely involved thermal controls for mass concrete pours. My concrete research has mostly involved novel fiber reinforced concrete mixes. Some of my favourite academic projects I've done include designing a possible new lab building at UVic, making a plan to reduce food waste in grocery stores, and utilizing GIS to determine the optimal spot for a new hospital in BC. My hobbies include writing, hiking, reading, and cycling.
