Rockets to Profits I always thought my dream was to spend my life in aerospace, whether it was in maintenance, engineering like my grandfather, or even as a pilot. I spent the 1st 8 years of my adult life working at various aerospace companies, contributing to getting some of the most innovative projects off the ground and in the air or even into space. I spent the last 2 years in the aerospace industry as an integration specialist at SpaceX where it felt like I had finally made it & I thought I could easily spend the next 10 years…it’s funny how life works though. One random Friday afternoon, there was an emergency meeting where Elon Musk himself got up in front of the entire company & announced they had to let go of about 15% of the company. He sent everyone home & said wait for an email to come in the next hour to know if you’re coming back on Monday…unfortunately I wasn’t coming back Monday. That same weekend was the same weekend I thought to myself, “THAT’S IT…I’m never going back to work for anyone else again!” Facebook must’ve been listening in to my conversations because I started getting ads about this thing called dropshipping, so I started my 1st online store. Long story short, it failed miserably because I knew nothing about how to market online. A couple Facebook ads later, I bought my 1st online course on how to run Facebook ads and decided to start my 1st agency where I started seeing a little success but eventually, it failed as well because we were just taking on too much with no real systems in place. After that, I was introduced to Russell Brunson & the concept of sales funnels & automations. For the 1st time something just clicked with me & my engineer brain & it changed the trajectory of where I was going. I dove into advanced funnels in Facebook Messenger called Messenger automations which led me to create ChatRocket where we build, launch, & manage both Messenger & Instagram DM automation funnels for clients & other agencies. I thoroughly enjoy working with others & helping them achieve success, but at some point around the end of the Covid-19 fiasco, I decided I wanted to use my knowledge & experience to work with businesses that make up our communities & I want to do it at a higher level. So after a couple years of hard work & even some heartbreaking experiences, my business partner & I launched our new software WalletVoucher in June 2023 to help small businesses compete with larger businesses and franchises.
