About Collin Jones

As a student-athlete, you might expect me to describe myself the same way most athletes do. Which would be something along the lines of having strong leadership skills and knowing how to accomplish my goals. Although I am lumped into this category, I leverage my unmatched drive with my ability to empower others to surpass expectations and create new standards wherever I go. I am obsessed with defying expectations and competing in all aspects of life. In terms of my academics, this means that I consistently challenge myself to pursue excellence in the quality of my education as well as my desire to stack accomplishments in a short time. This is why I currently hold a 4.0 GPA in the classroom, am the president of our school's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and will graduate in just 3.5 years with both my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an MBA in Corporate Financial Management. These feats are accompanied by my performance on our school's DII scholarship football program. I play Outside Linebacker for the Peacocks and am the team's current representative on the "Upper Iowa President's Team," which is composed of the athletes with the highest GPA on their respective teams. I also serve in a leadership role on the team through being on our unity council, where we meet to discuss team engagement and moving our young team forward towards excellence. Through both athletic and professional experience, I lead and empower large groups of people to overcome obstacles and better themselves. Through multiple internships, I have developed and coordinated largescale projects while also collaborating with senior leadership to organize future-state developments. Being engulfed in entrepreneurial settings is where I thrive and I believe that people are the most valuable asset to an organization. I am looking for opportunities to grow a company and make a significant impact on both company performance and workplace culture. My academic and athletic experience is topped off by several internships at various companies. This wide range of knowledge across several industries gives employers a competitive advantage when improving their business functions.
