About Collin Kasisi

I am process engineer and medical physicists with more than 20 years’ experience in the mining and minerals processing industry covering plant operations, mineral processing plant design, plant construction, mineral processing plant safety (HAZOPS, Process Safety, Safety Case Formulation), Radiation and Cyanide Safety Management. My operational experience include the following key mineral value extraction processes: Grinding (SAG/Ball/tertiary mills) flotation, Hydrometallurgy, CuSX/USX, Pyrometallurgy, CIL/Merrill-Crowe and HPAL. I have spent a significant part of my career conducting engineering design, commissioning, project management (gold plant expansion and plant upgrades to International Cyanide Management Code ICMC & OHS Auditing and business development. I have worked in Asia Pacific Region (Indonesia, Malaysia), Oceana (Australia & PNG) and Africa (Ivory Coast, Zambia & Zimbabwe) as a Lead OHS Auditor, mineral processing consultant and process improvement engineer mainly in the gold industry. I am currently working as a medical physicist and consulting in the mining and mineral processing industry. Recent consulting projects in the mining and mineral processing industry includes processing engineering audits of heap leach gold plants, conceptual studies of iron ore (hematite) and gold projects in the Southern and West African Countries.
