About Collin Lynch

At Rutgers I have taken a variety of courses to prepare me to evaluate market fluctuations and to understand consumer and world trends as seasonal and economic changes occur. I have held many employment positions in various fields including that of sales, and sports management. One of my more prominent positions was supervisor of an intramural sports league that has an upwards of 500 participants yearly. My duties involved but were not limited to staffing, reserving playing fields and training of referees. I also have experience working for a college sports program from when I interned for the Rutgers Marketing department. This gave me some insight on the efforts a company must show to attract customers to an otherwise lacking product. That it is often the little things that consumers appreciate. My current position at Waste Management as an Account Manager has allowed me to understand the importance of customer service and the power of negotiation in many different circumstances while managing hundreds of different accounts. My current mindset is perfect for a business environment as I continue to try and better myself everyday. I am extremely interested in learning more about the financial market and how even the slightest changes can causes tremors among the economy that can be taken advantage of for monetary gain.
