About Collin Miller

I graduated from the University of Central Florida in December of 2024, earning a degree in Integrated Business. Throughout my time at UCF, I was able to hone a variety of both hard and soft skills that have been invaluable in my career, particularly within the wholesale distribution industry. The combination of business concepts and practical problem-solving techniques I acquired during my studies has equipped me with a solid foundation, helping me approach challenges with a strategic mindset while also fostering effective communication and collaboration in team environments. In addition to my academic background, I have spent over five and a half years at Hughes Supply Orlando, where I gained hands-on experience in a variety of roles. Starting in the warehouse, I quickly learned the operational aspects of the business, and as my tenure progressed, I had more direct customer interaction at the sales and will-call counters. This allowed me to build a deeper understanding of customer needs and sharpen my sales and service skills. Recently, I accepted a position in Hajoca's Management Development Program, which led me to transfer to the Hughes Hudson location. Here, I am currently undergoing Phase 1 training, where I am learning critical tasks such as product pricing and purchasing. I am blessed for this opportunity to further enhance my capabilities as I advance in the program and look forward to my own personal growth and development while in this industry.
