About Collin Tompkins

Originally from Dallas, Texas, I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Baylor University in Corporate Communications (with an International Studies Minor), in December of 2023. I am excited about continuing my professional journey. Most recently, I had the unique opportunity of serving as a Strategic Communications Intern with Trail Runner International, where I collaborated on multiple internal teams alongside incredible people, while we worked with a $62B hedge fund and other high-end clients. I genuinely enjoyed the opportunity to provide public relations and crisis communication services to such a diverse group of business across the marketplace. Throughout my life I’ve been a naturally driven leader who thrives in making relational connections and mitigating problems and I’ve had unique opportunities to exercise these attributes via school projects, marketplace internships and various customer-facing jobs. My parents, who I’m eternally grateful for, raised me to pursue excellence in everything I do; this encouragement has led me to adopt an attitude of opportunity in any and all circumstances – especially when faced with a challenge.Notably, while focusing on my degree, I have had the opportunity to learn strategic insight and execution, crisis communication, community engagement and brand amplification, each of which I loved getting to contribute to. I’ve crafted comprehensive media reports for large corporations, facilitated high-impact media exposure for CEOs, and delegated leadership while orchestrating and facilitating programs for 160+ college students. I’m looking forward to bringing my strong work ethic, entrepreneurial approach to business, and conflict mitigation skills to the workplace.
