About Collinthia Howse

I’m currently an employee at FedEx Ground and have worked here for 5 years. I started as a package handler and then to administrator to my current position as an operations manager. During this time I am also in school to obtain my BA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. My hopes it to bring my degree and on the job experience to my next role. I have learned many skills in my different roles within the company as well as getting hands on experience with the HR side of the company. I was sent to a training last year and became our orientation facilitator for my station. I got to learn the process from interview all the way to their training on the dock. I enjoy this role as I get to be an ally as well as there go to person for any HR needs. I enjoy work that is impactful as well as positive in others lives. Working on a team or by myself, I still strive to excel. I enjoy challenging tasks as well as accomplishing goals. My managers have described me as teachable and I take that as a compliment. Learning new processes and being adaptable to changes are necessary skills to take on any role.
