About Colm Dermody

Since I joined Quest nearly 5 years ago, I have transitioned from the Quest Data Protection team to the Microsoft Platform Management team, where I’m focusing on securing Active Directory (AD) and supporting organizations with their migrations. In my previous role on the Quest Data Protection team, I had the opportunity to help organizations protect and back-up their critical data. Today, my focus shifts to another essential part of enterprise security: Active Directory—the backbone of identity and access for most businesses. With so many companies navigating hybrid and cloud-first environments, protecting AD and ensuring seamless migrations is more important than ever. On a personal level, I love being surrounded by nature. I spend a lot of time hiking & cycling. I enjoy discovering new walking routes around Ireland. I live close to the Wild Atlantic Way so there is plenty of places to choose from. I also enjoy sport like soccer, rugby and recently padel tennis.
