About Colm Healy
My main areas of interest are in youth mental health, developmental trajectories and the prediction and prevention of major psychiatric conditions. I have co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and two book chapters. I have a PhD in psychiatric epidemiology which was completed in the department of psychiatry at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (PI: Professor Mary Cannon; Co-supervisors: Professor Ian Kelleher and Professor Mary Clarke).My thesis was on the "psychosocial risk factors and outcomes of psychotic experiences in early adolescence". I have a BSc in Psychology with Neuropsychology and an MSc in the Foundations of Clinical Neuropsychology both from Bangor University, Wales.
