About Colton Hatcher

Currently residing in Sydney as an Activations Executive at Maverick. Originally from the Gold Coast, I worked two jobs, one as a Sales Consultant at Vodafone and another in the nightlife industry in Surfers Paradise. These jobs helped me in developing both sales and social skills which then furthered my knowledge and studies in International Business at Griffith University, where I majored in Marketing. I achieved top national salesman for Vodafone across multiple months while working there and was then approached by Telstra to come across in the sales team. This is where I chose to end my nightlife work as I had learned as much as possible from that adventure. In FY18-FY19 I was awarded as Top Salesman in QLD for Telstra, bringing in $1.1m in revenue for the company. After being given the opportunity to move to Sydney and take on a new corporate role at Maqro, I took the risk, with the belief in myself that success is a measure of discipline and hard work, and comes to those who chase it. Since joining Maqro, I became a qualified Investment Adviser in under 12 months, and have participated in over $10million in additional Funds Under Management with the company. I have participated in multiple outreach projects including Webinars, EDM campaigns and Publications. I have also worked successfully in the Corporate Finance Division, as lead broker on IPO's and Capital Raises. I have consistently achieved quantifiable financial and process improvements for the business in each role. I have also been key in company strategy development, initiating and developing programs both at board level and under the directive of the board. Recognised for my ability to swiftly deliver solutions; unify multiple stakeholders; resolution of urgent business-critical issues; macro orientated approach to risk assessment, planning and management
