I am a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, where I earned my degree in Geographic Information Science and Technology, graduating Magna Cum Laude. As a member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets, I developed leadership skills and earned a leadership certificate from the Hollingsworth Center for Ethical Leadership. During my time in the College of Geosciences, I participated in three impactful research initiatives, focusing on sustainability, natural resource management, and natural disaster mitigation, all aimed at fostering resilience in environmental systems and improving societal outcomes. I began my professional career as a GIS Project Coordinator for the City of Bryan’s Engineering, Planning & Development Department. This role allowed me to refine my geospatial expertise through data analysis, software development, and geospatial consulting. By maintaining critical local databases and supporting civil engineers in project planning and city development, I contributed to initiatives that promote sustainable urban growth and efficient infrastructure planning. Currently, I serve as a Business Development Representative for Nearmap, where I drive outbound sales efforts. My responsibilities include identifying and qualifying new opportunities, generating interest, and inspiring clients to adopt advanced aerial imaging technologies to optimize their workflows. Through my work, I help organizations leverage cutting-edge solutions to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness in their projects. My passion for Geographic Information Science stems from its transformative ability to analyze ecological processes, communicate the dynamics of environmental mechanisms, and understand the human impacts shaping our world. By harnessing the power of GIS technologies, I strive to advance innovations that promote sustainability and enhance the quality of life for future generations.
