About Cong Su

I'm a results-driven Mechanical Engineer and licensed P.Eng in British Columbia with over 7 years of experience leading complex engineering projects — most notably in Canada’s National Shipbuilding Strategy. From integrating HVAC-R and piping systems on Arctic patrol ships to managing thousands of engineering change orders on the country’s largest naval vessel, I’ve built my career on solving tough problems through teamwork, systems thinking, and persistence. I’ve led and supported engineering projects where every detail mattered — from early design to final delivery. Along the way, I’ve developed Power BI dashboards to support better decision-making, collaborated across engineering, production, and supply chain teams, and learned how to bring calm and clarity to fast-moving environments. Right now, I’m actively seeking new opportunities in engineering, project coordination, or project management—particularly in mining, infrastructure, energy, advanced manufacturing, or consulting. I’m currently pursuing PMP certification to complement my technical background with structured project delivery expertise. Outside of work, I stay grounded through snowboarding in the winter, hiking North Shore trails, playing tennis, and following financial markets and long-term investing.
