About Conleth Stead

In college, I worked in a few different roles with a focus on software development. I started working at ELSO as a research assistant, where I handled book orders, invoiced customers, and conducted data analysis. From sophomore to senior year, I worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Ford Motor Company. I rotated between frontend and backend development to build a website and mobile app for the company's customers and employees. I utilized paired programming and test-driven development to write clean, efficient code in TypeScript and CSS and collaborated with other developers and designers to deliver high-quality products. In my second summer, I took on more of a leadership role on my team as I was the only returning software engineer. I am proud to say I have just graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Entrepreneurship. I am grateful for all my experiences in college of learning, making mistakes, and meeting incredible people. In my junior and senior years, I participated on the Michigan College Boxing Team where I pushed myself out of the classroom to compete against other schools. From these experiences, I learned that my strengths include teamwork, adaptability, leadership, and resilience.
