About Conner Biedenstein

I am an accomplished and results-driven Research Physicist and Electrical Engineer with a strong background in RF systems, radar, and embedded systems design. My professional journey has been dedicated to developing and deploying cutting-edge technology for national security and defense, with a proven ability to take projects from initial concept through design, testing, and final deployment. My expertise includes RF environmental characterization, antenna design, and advanced signal processing. At the Florida Space Institute, I characterized the local RF environment of a military base and developed a survey system to identify and mitigate interference sources. As an Engineering Intern at NASA, I supported a project to detect and track aerial drones by capturing operating waveforms and analyzing data to triangulate their location. I am highly proficient in a variety of programming languages and technical tools, including Python, C++, MATLAB, and the CASPER toolkit. I have extensive experience with embedded system development, including programming FPGAs (specifically a Xilinx and RFSoC 4x2) for spectrum analysis and data acquisition. My work also includes hands-on experience with prototyping, basic machining, and technical writing for government customers. I am passionate about leveraging my skills to solve complex problems in environments that require innovation and precision.
