About Conner Pierce

As a licensed cosmetologist and a full-time college student, I am passionate about blending creativity with business acumen. Currently, I’m a junior at the University of Rhode Island, pursuing a degree in General Business Management. My experience in the beauty industry, combined with my academic background, has provided me with a strong foundation in both hands-on skill development and strategic thinking. I am Barbicide certified and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, which enables me to efficiently manage tasks and stay organized in both my academic and professional endeavors. Last year, I had the privilege of serving as a judge for the Skills RI Cosmetology Nail Care competition, where I gained valuable experience in evaluating talent and understanding industry standards. As a member of the Horticulture Club at URI, I’m always eager to explore new areas of interest and collaborate with others who share a passion for growth and innovation. I’m excited to connect with professionals in both the business and beauty industries, and look forward to continuing to learn and develop my skills in both fields.
