About Conner Sides

I graduated from Ferrum College with my Bachelors of Science in Political Science and minored in History. While at Ferrum College, I was a Student-Athlete and had the honor of serving as the captain of the Football Team for three years. I developed incredible time management skills as I held multiple leadership positions, such as Student Body President and the Vice President of our Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), as well as being the representative to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. This work has allowed me to develop many skills, including leadership, teamwork, and conflict resolution. My years of leadership experience have made me adaptable, motivated, and solution-oriented. In 2022 I had the privilege of working a summer internship with the Franklin County Courthouse. While I was there, I was able to work directly with the commonwealth attorneys. This work showed me the importance of being detail-oriented and empathetic. Currently, I serve as the Northern Virginia Regional Recruiter at Ferrum College, facilitating the recruiting process for future Panthers. These wide-ranging responsibilities span from communication with our established partnerships and sourcing top talent.
