About Connie Armbruster

With over seven years of experience as a Vice President of Banking at The Bankers Bank, OKC, I lead the delivery of organic customer growth, financial products, and unparalleled customer service. I leverage my skills in portfolio management and risk management, as well as budget development, forecasts, and financial analysis, to improve the financial performance and competitiveness of the bank. I coordinate and lead meetings with business partners, develop customer relationships across business lines, and act as a liaison between clients, internal and external fulfillment groups, and the sales and relationship manager teams. I'm fascinated by business and crave learning more about the intricate details of how each business functions and what external factors affect positive outcomes. While I've spent that last several years in the Payments and Financial Industries, my skill set can easily and successfully carry me to many other industries. I'm eager for more and seeking new opportunities that will continue to push and challenge my skills and knowledge. In addition to my banking role, I am a certified FEMA K9 Search Specialist with over 23 years of experience in training and maintaining a canine used for the location of live missing persons in federal disasters. I am one of less than 250 K9 teams in the nation qualified at this level. I have participated in rescue efforts of individuals trapped by natural and/or man made disasters such as 9/11, Hurricane Katrina and the collapse in Surfside, FL. I have also received multiple awards, including the President's Award, for my humanitarian and disaster relief efforts.
