I'm a problem-solver at heart, and I thrive on finding innovative solutions that can make a real difference in people's lives. I'm known for my ability to strategize, market new ideas/products, collaborate, and build trusting relationships to support people through change. In my 20 years of experience working in nonprofits, regulatory bodies, associations, and public institutions, I have led transformation initiatives that have had an impact on communities across Canada and East Africa. I engage communities and stakeholders to gain insight on ways to improve and collaborate with champions that believe in bold visions and work wholeheartedly towards empowering people. I've had the honor of working on modernizing programs and services to improve access through technology, standardization, and decolonization. I believe that the key to success is collaboration, and I have a proven track record of building trusting relationships with stakeholders to turn ideas into action. As an inclusive leader, I prioritize developing my team members and creating a work culture that promotes a sense of pride, safety, belonging, and connection. In my free time, I enjoy crossfit, hiking and challenging myself to reach new heights, both literally and figuratively, as I make my way through the 7 summits of the world.
