About Connie Fleming

As a nurse of many seasons, I find it imperative to continue to find venues of education to keep abreast of todays technology. I have completed a Bachelors degree in Nursing in the last year and the year before that I obtained a Progressive Care Certification in nursing. I have ACLS, TNCC and BLS current certifications. Within the next year I intend to obtain PALS certification, I have held PALS certification several times before. This past year I have gone back to ICU nursing after a 7 year sabbatical from it. Opportunity for charge positions in progressive care areas enticed me away from intensive care but I am enjoying the opportunity to again deal with more crtically ill patients. I am open for nursing opportunities in the Colorado Springs area that involve weekends off and dayshift. I cared for Children at the Airforce Academy and would like to work with young patients. I also have enjoyed my elderly clients as well as their families. I have been told that teaching and compassion are strong virtues of mine. I enjoy having the nursing students assigned to me. My hobbies involve my husband, dogs, cats and horses. Camping, hiking horseback riding, we enjoy beautiful Colorado to the the max.
