About Connie Guidry

Experience includes over 20 years in the healthcare field. Worked in physician credentaling in a TPA environment. Has extensive experience in physician credentialing, as well as the National Practioners databank. Was responsible for physician credentialing of providers for a PPO network of physicians. Credentialing new physicians, as well as recredentialing the current network physicians. Was also responsible for putting together the PPO network physician directory. Took the physicians through the credentialing process with a Board of Physicians two times a year. Was also back-up for the company's Pharmacy Benefit Administrator. When the PPO network was sold and no longer existed, I became the Pharmacy Benefit Administrator. Was responsible for any Customer Service pharmacy issues between the TPA and the Members. Was responsible for reviewing and acquiring prior authorizations for medications for Members. I attended Pharmacy conferences during the year staying updated on pharmacy benefits. I have taken my Pharmacy Yech course and received my diploma. I am in the process of studying for my Pharmacy State Board Certification.
