Hi there, I'm Connor Baker, a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity Analytics and Operations from Pennsylvania State University. With a passion for cybersecurity and a commitment to excellence, I'm excited to connect with professionals in the field and explore opportunities for growth and collaboration. Education: I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity Analytics and Operations from Penn State in May 2024. Throughout my academic journey, I maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.60 and consistently earned placement on the Dean's list. Experience: In my recent role as Lead Analyst for the Social Determinants of Health Capstone project, I combined healthcare data with social determinants of health using SQL and leveraged PowerBI for data visualization and analysis. Additionally, my internship at Capital BlueCross provided me with practical experience in relational databases, data mining, and PowerBI reporting. Leadership & Involvement: Beyond academics, I've demonstrated leadership as a former Setter and Court Captain for the Penn State Altoona Men's Volleyball Team. In this role, I led the team through workouts, practices, film sessions, and games, fostering teamwork and discipline. Additionally, I supported student learning as a Learning Assistant for the Penn State Cyber 100 program. I'm also a member of the Penn State Competitive Cyber Security Club, where I continue to refine my cybersecurity skills and practices. Skills: My technical skills include proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, and Python, as well as tools like PowerBI and SQL for data analysis and visualization. In cybersecurity, I have expertise in penetration testing, incident response, malware analysis, and network security. I'm passionate about leveraging my skills and experiences to make meaningful contributions in the field of cybersecurity.
