About Connor Bautz

Sports help create memories that last a lifetime for fans in attendance, watching from home, and even those working at the event. I personally have countless memories of bonding with friends and family over hockey, college basketball, and football. Being able to be a part of that environment and provide those great memories to countless people means the world to me, which is why I have a passion for sport facility management. After working for Kansas Athletics during my undergraduate journey, and currently with Wichita State Athletics as a graduate assistant, I have been able to understand and manage the intricacies of a sporting venue. Whether it is a sold out game at Allen Fieldhouse, the NFL Draft in Kansas City, or even seeing fans support the WSU alumni team during the TBT tournament, I have seen first hand the effect these events have on people. I have assisted in setting up these venues, managing the facilities, and connecting with other game day staff to ensure that everything goes according to plan.
