Efficiency - the quality of working well in an organized way, without wasting time or energy. Efficiency has been something that has driven me since I was very young. The idea of maximizing output while being critical of inputs has been a driving force in my career to date. However, through my career, I've noticed that many organizations and people tend to run on their gut impulses instead of using evidence-based decision-making. Enter, the struggle of efficiency."We've always done it this way" or "Our business is different" are terms I have heard throughout my work history. The problem here, is a lot of these businesses weren't paying close attention to what was really happening from a day-to-day operational standpoint. This is what captivated me to join ActionKPI. Our work looks to create clarity of organizational drivers and measure what matters to improve the performance of a business. In a world full of data, there needs to be scrutiny to avoid looking at all the noise to better optimize decisions. By implementing proper measurement technology that is integrated with other systems within the business, organizations can build a window into their operational efficiencies. They can start to see what the true drivers of profitability and efficiency really are and put plans in action to improve the business.
