About Connor Dame

While in college, I worked as the Advertising Sales Manager for our student-run school newspaper, as well as full-time in a factory job during the summer and winter to financially support my education. I graduated right at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, so I initially had trouble finding a good position. To support myself, I got a job as a cashier at Ollie's Bargain Outlet. Within the span of a year at this job, I climbed from Seasonal Sales Associate to Customer Service Supervisor. A few months after that promotion, I was offered the position of Assistant Team Leader. In the front-end aspect of this job, I managed the register associates and customer service. In the back office, I handled loss prevention and safety, in addition to several smaller daily and weekly administrative tasks. I am currently a Lab Technician at Commonwealth Rolled Products, where I test the physical properties of aluminum samples and manage the data and paperwork these tests produce.
