About Connor Fleming

I began working at King Soopers in Parker, Colorado. Once I had enough money saved, I moved to Boulder, Colorado where I began looking for work in live theater as technical crew. I began working part time at BDT Stage, a local dinner theater while also working full time at King Soopers in Boulder. As I worked, I began learning about the theater industry, and its inner workings. I started working tech positions as a spotlight operator and quickly moved on to working backstage, which was a much more intense and stressful position. After a couple different shows working anywhere I could in the building, I began working backstage full time, and was able to quit my retail job and focus on bettering myself in the theater world. In the years that followed, I became the new Crew Chief, began operating the sound board for live performances, worked at the Scene Shop, started to bartend, and became the Asst. Bar Manager. Working in theater has taught me to be patient, attentive, and flexible. In the last year, I have also been attending school for video editing and post-production. I now have a working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, as well as an eye for graphic design elements, and I look forward to expanding my current pool of knowledge even further.
