About Connor Grange

I am a level 3 qualified carpenter with ten years’ experience in the building and construction industry. I have worked in small variety of different roles that have covered many aspects of construction, both office and site based. More recently my career has seen me deployed in Antarctica as a building surveyor. This role has helped me vastly expand my knowledge of the contractual side of construction, from such duties as tendering out projects to suppliers and contractors, to preparing safe operating procedures for equipment and infrastructure. I also have the pleasure of seeing projects through from start to end, while still offering the opportunity to keep my practical skills sharp. Over the past few years I have also pushed myself to become a well-respected team leader, line manager and staff recruiter within this organisation; I take great pride in this especially given my age difference and the experience of those who I have come to manage.
