About Connor Harris

Having spent five years working at the YMCA, I have gained valuable experience in community building, program management, and team leadership. During my time there, I’ve had roles ranging from Membership Representative to Building Supervisor, which helped me develop a strong foundation in both customer service and operational management. This experience has also deepened my understanding of what it takes to create a positive, inclusive environment that supports members’ physical and emotional well-being.Transitioning to the role of Athletic Director has been a pivotal step in my career, allowing me to leverage my YMCA experience on a larger scale. In this role, I oversee program development and implementation, manage budgets, and ensure that all athletic programs align with community needs and organizational goals. Leading a team and planning diverse athletic events has strengthened my skills in strategic planning, communication, and leadership, positioning me well for future opportunities in sports and community program management.
