About Connor Howard

In Kindergarten, my teacher wanted to have a career day for us kids. She asked us to dress up as our dream profession and we were going to sing some songs and introduce ourselves to the audience of our parents. I was beaming ear to ear when I saw that my Mother had bought me a little blue pencil skirt and blazer to wear because I knew that was the perfect outfit fit for an Accountant. And thus, my journey began. My Father is also an accountant and I have always wanted to be just like him. I have taken four years of accounting classes in high school and am starting my fourth year of accounting at the amazing College of Business at the University of Texas at Arlington. I plan on Graduating with a Masters in 2023. I am Quickbooks Certified and eager to add more skills to my resume. My dream ever since I was five was to become an Accountant, and my ultimate goal would be to become a Forensic Accountant. Another dream of mine was to play Golf in college. Now, I am also a member of UT Arlington's Division 1 Women's Golf team. I have never been a stranger to hard work and dedication. Golf is a year round sport and so is a career. Golf has taught me so much about etiquette, time-management, and extreme mental focus. I would like the opportunity to take the skills that I have learned from school and golf and apply them to a job. I am ready to learn more about Accounting, face new challenges, and work hard.
