About Connor Johnson

As a junior at the University of Texas at Austin studying under the Plan II Honors College, and a Sociology/Pre-Law major, I am a highly motivated and driven individual with a passion for learning and personal growth. With a strong academic background and a range of extracurricular experiences, I am committed to making a positive impact on the world around me. Throughout my academic career, I have demonstrated a deep curiosity and a love of learning. I have excelled in my coursework, earning high marks in a variety of disciplines, including literature, philosophy, sociology and history. In addition, I have sought out opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills through internships, study abroad, and volunteer work. As a Plan II student, I have honed my critical thinking and analytical skills, learning how to approach complex problems with creativity and intellectual rigor. I have also developed strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and am adept at working collaboratively with others Giving back to my community means that I am part of the infrastructure that improves the quality of life for my fellow human beings. It is very easy to become self-involved and unmotivated in our technology rich society. I am responsible for uplifting my community and being part of the solution to help those in need because I am a member of society. Without philanthropy and the desire to help others during their time of need, our society would lose the very thing that keeps us going. Hope.
