About Connor Loando

I am an Audio Engineer with 3 years of school and private education in Audio. Over the past few years at Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School, I have learned that I have a talent for audio. I currently am a Broadcast Mixer Intern at the Faith Community Church in Hopkinton, MA where I have expanded my knowledge of real-world audio production. I have worked on many video production teams and in many recording sessions to craft concise audio for projects. Why does Audio interest me? When I first began high school, I knew I wanted to do something with film. I wasn't sure exactly, but as I went to learn video, I knew something didn't fit. From there I found out about Audio and knew that was what I wanted to do. Audio has the ability to tell a story through your surroundings. If you hear something, you most likely envision what you hear. It's like painting a picture with no canvas. I fell in love with that storytelling and have begun to experiment making sound effects and processing vocals I record. To further my own education, I have begun to learn Video Production and Music Production, which will give me all aspects of Audio knowledge. I hope to gain further education throughout my career, and be able to work with fellow Audio Engineers to expand my knowledge.
