About Connor Meegan

Hello! My name is Connor Meegan and I am a Data Analyst at Spectrum Enterprise looking for the next step in my career. I am seeking opportunities as a data analyst or data scientist where I can apply my knowledge, skills, and creativity to solve real-world problems. I am passionate and very skilled in data analysis and discovering patterns to better people's lives. Creating data-driven visualizations, engaging in UX/UI Design and data-centered research are some other things that I enjoy. For instance my colleague and I showcased the general migration of tornadoes eastward through data visualizations at CU Boulder. Utilizing data visualization and analytic tools in Python like Pandas and Seaborn, we were able to analyze large weather datasets and transform it into a dashboard of useful charts and maps showcasing our hypothesis for the research project. Some of my skills include working with Python, Tableau, SQL, Microsoft Excel, Machine Learning, and Figma. I am a fast learner and I am able to adapt to any task quickly. I work well in groups and on individual projects. I have fantastic analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and people-pleasing qualities. I have been a storyteller all of my life. This can be seen in my video production experience throughout middle school, high school, and even college. After receiving my BS in Information Science from CU Boulder, however, I have found a new way to do storytelling. With this degree, I gained a new understanding of what storytelling actually means and how I can actually make a difference in this world. I am able to pursue my passion further with my new skills and abilities by helping improve society with one story and solution at a time.
