About Connor Obrien

ATOS: During my time working for Atos I have worked on long term projects extensively. This work can be highly varied and often involves working with new technologies and quickly picking up skills in order to achieve what needs to be done. Some key areas which I have developed skills in are- SCCM (MCM)- Setting up collections and deployments for large and small feature releases. Providing regular stat updates and resolving issues that occur during deployment- Testing - During my time on projects I have done a substantial amount of testing. From creating test plans and documenting the steps required to test the functionality to actually performing the testing and being responsible for documenting results in a comprehensive manner, then relaying the information to the relevant people for issues to be discussed and resolved. I have also been a large presence in the resolution of any issues that have been discovered during testing- Support 3rd Line - When rolling out project work I have taken a lead on ticket management and resolution for my team. Managing the ticket queue for my team and providing end-users with friendly, and efficient support and resolution of any issues they may be facing with either the roll out process or any effects experience after changes have been implemented- AD and Group Policy - I have often worked with AD and Group Policy to implement changes where needed. Such as setting up new testing groups and policies to perform pilots before full scale releases. Side Projects: Alongside my work for Atos as a company I have many side projects which I have been developing my skills in- Photography and Videography - I have taken multiple photoshoots for various people and events. Mainly live music, however I would like to progress into other fields. I also video and edit my own vlog series where I travel around mainly with my partner and document what we are doing. I have also been majorly involved in the videoing and creation of 2 full music videos. This was done by myself and 2 others for the purpose of bringing alive 2 singles from a musician's new EP.
