About Connor Oshea

I am an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the Supply Chain for varied industries. I pride myself on challenging the status quo and pushing for continuous improvement in all aspects of my job. During my time at Crane Payment Innovations I worked in the supply chain group as an Associate Mechanical Engineer. In this position I worked with injection mold suppliers on re-tooling projects for existing products as tools became out of warranty. This gave me the opportunity to explore design for manufacturing improvements and to reduce the cost of parts through creative design and tooling changes. In addition to the design aspects of this position, I also worked closely with the verification of newly tooled parts through PPAP documentation and testing new assemblies with the product test department. I then had the opportunity to secure a new position with The Volvo Group as a Packaging Engineer at their Mack Trucks facility. This position introduced me to the logistics side of the supply chain. I worked directly with representatives of over 100 part suppliers to setup packaging instruction documentation in order to ensure parts arrive to the quality standard. In addition to this, I worked closely with the production teams to improve packaging efficiency for existing parts by using 3D models to pack the most parts in the smallest container. Currently I am searching for a new opportunity as an experienced Mechanical Engineer in the area of Allentown Pennsylvania and am excited for what the future may bring.
