About Connor Plumley

I am an SOI-Qualified Architectural Historian with an MS in Historic Preservation from the University of Vermont, a BS in Anthropology from Kennesaw State University, and nearly a decade of experience in cultural resource management. I have participated in archaeological surveys in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming, and have participated in or planned and lead historic surveys in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. I have authored or co-authored cultural resource survey reports according to the standards and formatting of many states and regions, including Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, South Carolina, and Tennessee. I was also a major contributor to Historic New England's one of the most complete sources of information currently available on the history, identification, documentation, and preservation of historic kit houses.In addition to my experience in cultural resource management, I also have experience in construction and rehabilitation through previous employment with a local contractor and through volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity, as well as experience in animal rescue working as a dog handler for All Breed Rescue in Williston, VT during my time as a graduate student and through volunteer work with a variety of Atlanta-based rescue organizations during my youth.
