About Connor Reed

As a Planning and Performance Manager at HSBC, I am responsible for managing and tracking our BAU and strategic change cost bases against our operating plan, which enables our Global Private Banking and Wealth business to progress with targeted change in line with our strategic objectives and deliver value to our growing customer base. I have worked with customer journey teams to deliver insight into performance of our key commercial drivers, identifying areas of strength and commercial opportunity. I have over 5 years of experience in the banking and finance sector, starting as a Graduate Management Trainee and progressing to my current role.I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge in economics, customer service, and teamwork to create value for our clients, stakeholders, and colleagues. I am also a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist, which enables me to leverage agile principles and practices to drive innovation and collaboration across the organization. My goal is to continue developing my expertise in cost management and the Finance function in operation. I am progressing my CIMA CGMA qualification to further my understanding and bring this into my role. I would love to build my own international experience and am interested in opportunities in Asia-Pacific region.
