About Connor Sakal

I am a graduate from the Ithaca College School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration focused in Marketing. Having worked and volunteered in countries spanning four continents, I am adept at communicating across cultures and do well in fast-paced or ambiguous situations. Known for having an entrepreneurial spirit, I enjoy learning new things and making meaningful contributions. I have spent the past four years of my career helping companies and community organizations achieve their goals. With experience in digital solutions, I have helped multiple small businesses establish their digital presence, run digital campaigns, and gain access to the opportunities offered by the digital world. Some of this work includes helping a small farm in Pennsylvania rebuild its website, set up e-commerce sales and expand its digital customer base. This led to the business seeing an increase in digital and physical sales and allowed them to reach a wider audience that they could now further engage with and market to online. Another example is when I worked with Small Business Edge on their prelaunch digital campaign. The campaign included social media promos and digital content creation that would increase awareness of the launch and bring small business owners together online to build a community around the platform. Doing meaningful work is very important to me and engaging with communities is something I strongly value. Helping businesses interact, communicate and develop relationships with their customers is something I strive to do in my work. This is what attracted me so much to the digital space because of the seemingly limitless opportunities there are to build communities and interact with each other online.
