Innovation and Kaizen Leader - Senior Product Manager - Mission-Driven My favorite things about my work are- Eliminating friction between customers and value, patients and health care- Building authentic relationships and the growing confidence of "we've got this!" through shared trust- Seeing a team's spirit soar as they experience new possibilities, including debunking the myth that "to get better results, you need more resources". My super powers at work are: I get things done: I consistently, and creatively maximize the resources available. I drive across the product life cycle - engaging, understanding, aligning, and inspiring people from all functions and levels to work through operational, experience, and technical challenges to deliver results. I deliver on novel, top priority challenges through grit, creativity, and a focus on relationship and process. I am passionate about engaging and empowering teams to learn by doing. Service design, build, and improvement driver: I am a hybrid doer who combines deep experience in product management, human centered design, Lean Start-Up methods, kaizen, consulting, operations leadership, and teaching to rapidly move the cycle of innovation. Digital Health catalyst: At the confluence of technology, operations, and CX, I am an experienced leader in achieving customer needs and digital first objectives Action catalyst: Expert at facilitating teams to experience the power of great process and "trystorming"(versus brainstorming). E.g. Guiding a team overcome barriers to get to action and learn by doing; leveraging a fun, creative method to facilitate a design session. Novel challenge seeker: interpersonal and problem-solving capabilities fuel me and my success Outside of work, I love to travel with my wife, and take our dog on urban hikes. With our two boys, I love to play sports, including coaching several of their teams. I also love to learn new things, recently catching my first solo waves, and currently learning to play hockey, the guitar, and 3D printing. I am passionate about serving the community as a board member of North Seattle Baseball, volunteering at community meals, and leading an annual community fitness event raising money for cancer research (2024 was year 3!).
