About Connor Stone

I want to solve hard problems to help people understand the Universe better. I am at my happiest when writing some code that I know could improve the results of thousands of papers by making results come faster/easier/better than before. My training in physics and machine learning, plus a hunger for knowledge have given me a vast array of techniques and algorithms to pull from; I am always happy to talk through any problem someone is facing to see if a simple solution can save them hours of work! Problem solving is a key element of my personal time as well. I am an amateur astrophotographer, taking photos of nebulae, galaxies, planets, and clusters. If you ask me about it, be prepared for a long explanation about a grainy picture. I am also a Dungeons & Dragons Dungeon Master, in this capacity I create problems for my players instead of solving them. My latest major project is my son, Orion.
