Financial Advisor by day, philosopher by night. As a Humanities Major, one might wonder why I chose to be a financial advisor? I chose this path because I am an aspiring educator. I believe education is one of the most powerful forces in the world, and I decided that out of all the aspects of one’s life that require education, money is one of the least educated spaces in our life. My decision, then, came from this line of thinking: if I want to educate, why not educate in a space where it can provide true value and help a person in their daily life? With that in mind, I joined a firm that values education and the desire to add well-being to a clients life not just because we add professional value, but because each client we work with knows in a very personal sense what they are doing and why. Cultivating those types of relationships takes time, but it can be a thrilling and fulfilling journey.
